We congratulate and introduce our new master trainers who have just acquired the knowledge and expertise to
train and develop more Nigerians to work and support the growth and development of SMEs in Nigeria.
The new Master trainers have just completed a rigorous 2-week residential programme on the
SIYB (Start and Improve-your-Business) module which is an internationally certified material with an in built
follow up system developed by the international labour organization (ILO) to assist prospective and existing
entrepreneurs.
This SIYB comprises three major training packages:
Generate Your Business Idea (GYBI)
Start Your Business (SYB)
Improve Your Business (IYB)
This programme has been successfully deployed in over 80 countries world-wide,with outstanding
results in creation of new businesses and expansion of existing enterprises.
OUR PLAN OF ACTION
In the coming months, NECA will be embarking on a series of train-the-trainers programmes, which will be
anchored by the Masters Trainers, the purpose of which is to expand our capacity to promote and support
entrepreneurship all over Nigeria.
We are also prepared to deploy the Master Trainers to partner with faith-based institutions, NGOs and other
stakeholders who share our vision and passion for
Promoting entrepreneurship, to acquire the capacity to achieve their objectives.
