The NECA Technical Committees will hold its annual 2-day Retreat for its members
at Gateway Hotel, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State from Friday, 20th March 2009 at 8:00 a.m. to Saturday, 21st March 2009.
The retreat will bring together members of the Association's Technical Committees comprising of the;
Committee of Human Resource Experts
Learning & Development Committee
Committee of Finance Experts
from across the country to share experience and gain valuable knowledge and skills required to cope with
emerging challenges in the world of work.
The theme for the retreat is "Managing Business for Growth in the Face of Global Economic Meltdown." The topics include:
Effective Management of Redundancy and Retrenchment
Economic and Business Outlook for 2009: Consequences for HRM
Managing the Menace of Multiple Levies & Taxes: The Way Forward
Coaching & Mentoring as a Tool for Enhancing Organisational Performance

We hereby invite members to participate in the Retreat which will hold at Gateway Hotel, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on Friday, 20th March 2009 at 8:00 a.m. to Saturday, 21st March 2009
Kindly download, complete and forward the Nomination Form
with the participation fee of N40, 000.00 to secure a place on the programme.
The fee covers Tea/Coffee with snacks, group lunch, a banquet dinner, materials and stationery but does not cover accommodation.
However, a block reservation has been made at the Hotel at the rate of N 7,700 per night (inclusive of taxes).
Participants will be responsible for their own accommodation, Breakfast and one dinner, and transportation.
They are also advised to make provision of about N7,000 to cover breakfast for two days and dinner for one day.
Please, note that participants are expected to arrive at the venue of the Retreat in the evening of Thursday, 19th March 2009.
